Announcement

Year 7 and 11 Parents' Consultation Evening

We are holding a Year 7 and Year 11 Parents’ Consultation evening on Thursday 19th October between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.  Staff will be available between 4.30 and 7.30pm and have a limited number of appointment slots.  It is important, therefore, that you book the time you would like to meet with your child’s teachers as soon as possible in order to get your preferred slot.

We will endeavour to make time for all appointments you wish to make, but it is a very busy evening and it may be necessary to limit appointments to areas we feel are most needed.  If circumstances do not permit you to see a particular teacher, or you require a longer time period to discuss a matter in more detail, please feel free to contact the school to make a specific appointment at a different time.  There will also be a second Year 7 and Y11 Parents’ evening later in the year so you will have a further opportunity to meet with your child’s teachers then.

We have already sent home an appointments sheet for your son/daughter to keep and make appointments with their teachers/Learning Guide.   It is important, therefore, that you book the time you would like to meet with your child’s teachers as soon as possible in order to get your preferred slot.

We are also running a number of focussed talks on topics which we feel may be of particular interest to you and your child.  Please see details below.  No appointments are required to attend these optional talks.

5.00-6.00: Drop in session regarding the Cumbria Trip (Y7) -      Canteen
