“The core values of the school or our infamous BBB, which is belong believe become. In the daily activities at school these are shown in many aspects, but firstly in our amazing knowledge and curriculum. We believe that knowledge is really powerful and it really enables students to success in their future, be it college, sixth form, apprenticeships, whatever their pathway is. 

We also see it every day. We see really strong characters being built, students showing really good personalities and loving being part of the academy. They definitely belong here because it's shown in our attendance. Students like coming to our academy. 

The unique selling point of the school is that we always think of the students first. We try and treat every child like one of our own children. All staff, every meeting we put students first. What would you want as a parent or carer for your son or daughter at this academy. 

So whether it is the curriculum where we think about what students should be learning and when. If its trips, we look at what activities they've done and provide opportunities they may have not historically have had.

We have loads of enrichment opportunities that go above and beyond. From creating mini business projects, to all the career preparation we do. We get industry talks, we include work experience. We try and give students opportunities that really raise their aspirations and give them access to as many things, not just about the curriculum, but also about the wider world.”
