Sadly we are unable to host our annual exhibition of our wonderful GCSE Artwork. However, our Art Department have put together this lovely virtual exhibition so you can all still enjoy the beautiful art produced by our very talented students.


Our team of y7 & y8 students competed against 20 schools in the Harris Federation KS3 Geog Quiz. Our students did exceptionally, scoring 82/90! and were only 4 points behind the winning schools. Congratulations to Connor, Elis, Ella, Joel and Phoebe for representing HAR so well!


On Thursday, Year 9 and 10 athletes took part in the Federation sports day which is held at the National sports centre at Crystal Palace. For full story go to


The year 7's undertook a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) drop day on Friday. Students were able to speak to and question real life engineers, scientists and designers gaining an understanding of the education needed to go into these careers.


Over 40 Y10 pupils successfully completed their Bronze DofE training. They learned basic first aid skills, how to use cooking equipment and cook a substantial meal, how to put up tents and how to map read

On Friday 2nd July, 30 Year 10 students were selected to take part in a careers event that looked at careers in nursing and other fields of the NHS.

Year 11 Headstart Programme

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope that this letter finds you and your families well. Although the Year 11 students are currently not on-site, we feel that it is incredibly important that Year 11 continue with preparations for their next steps. Therefore, we are offering an opportunity for students to sign up for the Head Start programme, which will run during the weeks commencing 21st June, 28th June and 5th July 2021.

Over these 3 weeks, we are offering a range of subjects for the students to sign up for and participate in virtually when they are at home. The aim of this programme is to keep students actively engaged in subjects that they enjoy and are planning to choose for next year. This programme will give them a Head Start to Level 3 courses.

Students will need to sign up for each subject as teachers will create their own ‘Team’ online for the sessions. If your child does not sign up, they will not receive an invitation to the session. Students will be emailed a link from Mr Leslie on Monday 14th June to complete the sign up form. Details will also be on our website. It is essential that students sign up for this by Thursday 17th June 2021

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that Year 11 have their leavers’ assembly on Friday 2nd July at 12.15pm. Students are to make their way to the main school hall from 12pm on the day. School uniform is not required but students MUST be in appropriate clothing (No ripped denim, low-cut tops, crop tops, short shorts). The school hoodies will also be available for collection after the leavers’ assembly.
