HAR Achieves Silver Equalities Award

We are very proud to say that Harris Academy Rainham has now achieved the Silver Equalities Award, created by EqualiTeach.

Silver Award LogoThe Equalities Award is an online auditing tool providing schools with the opportunity to evaluate, strengthen and showcase their whole school approach to equality, diversity and inclusion.

The Award has been designed by a team of equality and education experts to allow schools to fulfil their statutory duties to, for example:

  • Eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations
  • Promote community cohesion
  • Safeguard children and promote spiritual moral, social and cultural development 

Congratulations to everyone at the academy who made this award possible. We presented a fantastic portfolio of evidence, which showed the great equality and diversity work we are doing at Harris Academy Rainham.
