Information for Parents regarding COVID19 Lateral Flow home testing.

Information for Parents regarding COVID19 Lateral Flow home testing.

Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to extend our enormous appreciation for all of your support over the last few weeks as we conducted Lateral Flow testing across all year groups in the school. Your children have conducted themselves with maturity and taken the process seriously and we are very proud of them.  We are committed to our role in reducing the spread of COVID19.

To continue the support of Contract Tracing we are strongly encouraging staff and students will continue to carry out tests at home.

Home Testing Using a Lateral Flow Device
Students and staff have been given Lateral Flow Home Testing Kits that contain 3 tests in each, this will last them throughout the Easter period. We will continue to issue more tests when we return to ensure that students and staff can continue testing throughout the Summer term.  To detect any asymptomatic cases, students should take a test twice a week and we ask that this is done on a Sunday and Wednesday evening each week and then log the results into the Test and Trace website:

If the test is positive we ask that as well as reporting it the NHS track and trace website, you also send through positive results to

Please put the student’s full name year group and confirm if positive into the subject heading.

Thank you for your continued support
Have a good Easter break
