GCSE Results Day
Students and staff at Harris Academy Rainham are celebrating 93 ‘super’ Grade 9s, each equivalent to an A**. Almost 40% of art students achieved a Grade 9 and there were 27 Grade 9s across Chemistry, Physics and Biology. In total there was 200 Grade 9/8 awarded to our pupils.
Across the academy, 66% of students achieved 5 GCSEs including English and Maths. 81% achieved a GCSE grade 4 or better in English while 75% did so in Maths.
36% of students achieved the demanding Ebacc, up from 28% last summer and considerably higher than the most recent national average which was 24%.
Special mention must be made of the following students who excelled, with large numbers of Grade 9s:

- James Bassett (10 Grade 9s)
- Beatrice Adomaityte (10 Grade 9s)
- Imman Hussain (9 Grade 9s)
