Our Rainham Experience programme for students in Years 9 to 11 aims to help them 'get university-ready’.
Students who take part in the Rainham Experience are helped to access the best colleges, universities and careers by broadening their academic interests and personal skills.
Whether by helping you discover a career you had not previously considered, or by honing your discussion skills, the Rainham Experience will offer you a headstart when it comes to you future. Below you can read more about what the programme offers.

Cultural visits (Years 9-11)
The Rainham Experience will include theatre, music and museum trips so that our students can encounter first-hand London’s rich and vibrant cultural life and history.
Mentoring (Years 9-11)
We will support students to ensure that their ambitions match their potential.
Direct invitations to academic events (Years 9-11)
Members of the Rainham Experience will benefit from direct invitations to university-based and other extra-curricular events that we think might be of interest.
Rainham Union Debating Society (Years 10-11)
Our students will get the chance to attend, participate in and lead formal debates on a range of topics, from corporal punishment to the merits (or otherwise) of President Donald Trump.
Inspiring Sixth Form (Year 11 only)
A programme of university-style seminars designed to introduce our high-achieving students to concepts outside the school curriculum. Sessions will cover, among other topics, psychology, economics and medicine.
