18 September 2025HarrisRainhamProud Thursday is off to a flying start in this new school year, with a record number of students coming along to share their fantastic work with their Heads of Year. The turnout has been so incredible that we’ve already emptied our praise basket and now need to refill it! It’s wonderful to see so much dedication and pride in learning, and we can’t wait to celebrate even more student success as the year continues.

Their hard work, dedication, and outstanding sportsmanship truly shone through on the pitch. We couldn’t be prouder of the way they represented our school — both in skill and in spirit. 17 September 2025HarrisRainhamA message from the Head of Year 9: This week I am very excited to praise Jasper in 9HUDSON. Jasper has returned to school with an excellent attitude and approach to his lessons. Jasper has not only received the top BBB points in his year group in the first weeks back, but he has also received the most amount of BBB points in the whole school. This is a credit to the amazing work and contributions that he has made to his lessons, which has not gone unnoticed by lots of staff across the school. Even this morning Jasper demonstrated his fantastic efforts in assembly by contributing great ideas to our visitor about the ways in which students can support their well-being. It has made me extremely proud to be your Head of Year and I cannot wait to see the progress that you will make throughout the year. - Ms K Harrison

A special shout-out to our History cohort, with an incredible 50% of students arriving at 7:30am ready to learn! Miss Harrison was particularly impressed with Dominic (11Peaty) and his excellent response about Germany – well done! 👏 Our Science intervention also saw a fantastic turnout, with so many students working hard to prepare for their exams. This is such a great reflection of the year groups growth, dedication and maturity. It has made me very proud to be your Head of Year to see so many of you beginning this term with the right mindset! Humanities subjects will be the focus for this half term, and students are expected to attend at least two sessions per week. 21 August 2025HarrisRainham2025 GCSEs at Harris Academy Rainham: Harris Academy Rainham’s Year 11 students are celebrating another strong set of results. Nearly two thirds of students achieved passes in both English and Maths and nearly a quarter of GCSEs were awarded the top Grades of 7-9, equivalent to A and A*s under the old system. Over 84 top Grade 9s and DIST*s were awarded. Here are a few photos of some of our students celebrating their amazing results.

21 August 2025HarrisRainhamHarris Academy Rainham’s Year 11 students are celebrating another strong set of results. Many students achieved a string of top grades, including star student Joyee D. With 9 Grade 9s and a grade 8, Joyee has worked incredibly hard over the past five years and is a role model to others in our academy. Layla M combined academic excellence with being Head Girl and leading our school council. With straight Grade 7-9s including seven Grade 9s and three Grade 8s, she will begin her sixth form study from a brilliant position of strength.

21 August 2025HarrisRainhamYear 11 GCSE results day 2025 student success story; Ronnie who epitomises hard work, never giving up and proving determination pays off, who today found out he had achieved five Grade 9s, three Grade 8 and two Grade 7 and Joel who was part of our rising 9 programme, took part in every opportunity offered to him and leave sus today achieving five grade 9s, three grade 8s and grade 7.

20 August 2025HarrisRainhamHRSF celebrated their first set of results last week and the results were very strong. A massive congratulations to Andreas, our former HAR student, and Freddy and Anastasia who achieved exceptional results. Following his outstanding A Level success, Andreas will going to read Biology at the University of Bath, and Freddy is going on to read Physiotherapy. We would also like to congratulate Anastasia who will be taking up a place at University College London (UCL) to read History and Politics. Well done to these students on their fantastic accomplishments.
